C&rsquo;est dr\u00f4le, \u00e9mouvant, tragique, beau, universel&#8230; Remarquablement quoique simplement jou\u00e9. Chef d&rsquo;\u0153uvre ? Certainement.<br \/>\nLe premier trait de g\u00e9nie est d&rsquo;inverser la di\u00e9g\u00e8se (\u00e7a fait du bien parmi tous ces millions de structures narratives similaires et pr\u00e9visibles) : l&rsquo;intrigue est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en chronologie invers\u00e9e. Le film commence donc par l&rsquo;acte 3. Il s&rsquo;agit de la vie d&rsquo;un homme ordinaire de sa mort \u00e0 l&rsquo;enfance&#8230; et de la fin du monde (ce n&rsquo;est pas d\u00e9voiler le film, on le sait d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res minutes). Fin du monde, mais lequel ? Car toute l&rsquo;ossature du r\u00e9cit repose \u2014 et l\u00e0, deuxi\u00e8me respect absolu \u00e0 Stephen King \u2014 sur des vers issus des<a href=\"https:\/\/livrecritique.com\/poemes-de-legalite-de-walt-whitman-un-resume-de-ses-oeuvres-de-1891-1892\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em> Po\u00e8mes de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9<\/em> de Walt Whitman,<\/a> publi\u00e9s entre 1891 et 1892\u00a0 : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Le po\u00e8me le plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre de cette collection est \u00ab\u00a0Chanson de moi-m\u00eame\u00a0\u00bb, dans lequel Whitman c\u00e9l\u00e8bre l\u2019individualit\u00e9 et l\u2019unicit\u00e9 de chaque \u00eatre humain. Il \u00e9crit : <\/em>\u00ab\u00a0Je suis moi-m\u00eame, je suis immense, je contiens des multitudes\u00a0\u00bb<em>, soulignant ainsi que chaque personne est une multitude en soi, avec ses propres pens\u00e9es, sentiments et exp\u00e9riences\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\n<\/em>Beau moment de cin\u00e9ma \u2014 qui justifie <em>d&rsquo;\u00eatre du cin\u00e9ma<\/em> \u2014\u00a0 \u00e0 voir absolument.<\/p>\n<p>(En revanche la bande annonce est nulle : elle banalise le film en un gruau pathos mille fois vu. Or ce n&rsquo;est pas \u00e7a du tout) :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OsKjnrrPTB0?si=c0eMj2lMBYaKxXkz\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PS \/ j&rsquo;en profite pour \u00e9taler ma culture. Une \u00ab\u00a0chanson de soi-m\u00eame\u00a0\u00bb qui revient notamment avec m\u00e9lancolie sur sa propre vie, est du genre dit <em>\u00e9l\u00e9gie<\/em>. Une des plus fortes de tous les temps a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crite par un certain <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chidiock_Tichborne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chidiok Tichborn<\/a> qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 supplici\u00e9 atrocement le 20 septembre 1586 pour avoir complot\u00e9 contre la reine Elisabeth Ire. Cette \u00e9l\u00e9gie a \u00e9t\u00e9 reprise par de nombreux groupes rock souvent sous son titre de <em>Elegy for himself, <\/em>qu&rsquo;il a \u00e9crite durant la nuit pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent sa mise \u00e0 mort. D&rsquo;une certaine fa\u00e7on King, et le film de Flanagan sont des \u00e9l\u00e9gies de chacune et chacun d&rsquo;entre nous.
